I got this dashcam about a week ago and have been using it for my trips. I have to say it arrived well packaged. Everything you need to install it comes in the box. I've included some up close photos so you can see what all is inside the box in person. I installed this in my tesla model 3 and used the lighter connection to power it. There are plenty of instructions included and even has a qr code to link for more help should you get turned around. Connectivity was easy and reliable. I disconnected it so that I can wire it and use the tool to hide the wires. It even talks to you which I thought was really cool! Included is the micro SD card that would normally cost you 60$ and that alone makes it all a great value. If you're considering this one go for it. Its a definite steal.

fas Gerät als solches ist sehr gut. Gute Praxistauglichkeit, sehr gute Bildqualität - und klar funktioniert wie es soll.
Das einzige, was halt stört ist das Kabel und die Innenverkleidung vom Fahrzeug mach ich jetzt deswegen nicht ab.

Ansonsten kann ich das Teil voll empfehlen.

I am writing a review to praise the Avapow Customer Service team - please note that the cigarette lighter adapter that comes with this camera has no other ports available for charging or USB access, so if that is important to you, please be aware. I asked if another USB-C charger could be used and they quickly answered that it's best to use theirs. I'm grateful for their fast response and look forward to installing and using this camera.

This is a good dash cam just make sure you take the time to learn and if you have trouble reach out to customer support

Not bad, but sometimes it needs to connect to Wi-Fi before you can start recording.

Easy to easy with multiple wiring options. Check for separate “power mirror” installation kit for easy plug in behind your mirror for basically zero wiring needed.

Recently installed the AVAPOW 4K front dash cam, and I’m really impressed with the performance.

The 4K video quality is sharp and clear—day or night, you can read license plates and see details that really matter. Installation was straightforward, especially with the included hardwire kit, which keeps it powered without worrying about battery life.

The 64GB SD card was a nice bonus and allows for plenty of continuous recording before needing to overwrite old footage. I also appreciate the compact design—it doesn’t block my view at all and looks sleek on the windshield.

If I had to mention a minor downside, it’s that the menu navigation could be slightly more intuitive, but it’s not a dealbreaker once you get used to it.

Overall, it’s a reliable, high-quality dash cam that gives peace of mind while driving. Highly recommended.

Ich habe das AVAPOW Hardwire Kit zusammen mit der Dashcam in meinem Wohnmobil verbaut, weil ich auf längeren Urlaubsreisen die Fahrt aufnehmen möchte und gleichzeitig den Wagen auf dem Stellplatz / Autobahnparkplatz / am Reiseziel (oder auch am Strand, wenn er mal alleine steht) über den Parkmodus im Blick haben will.

Für den Festanschluss ist aus meiner Sicht alles dabei, was man braucht. Der Einbau war damit gut machbar und wirkt insgesamt wie ein rundes Set – kein „fehlendes Kleinteil, das man erst noch nachkaufen muss“.

Ein Punkt, der für manche wichtig ist (und bei mir auch bewusst so in Kauf genommen wurde): Man kann die Aufnahmen nicht „mal eben von unterwegs“ checken und bekommt auch keinen Fernalarm, weil es keine Mobilfunkanbindung gibt. Das ist kein Mangel im Sinne von „falsch beworben“ – es wird ja auch nirgends behauptet, dass LTE/Remote-Überwachung dabei wäre – aber man sollte es vor dem Kauf klar im Kopf haben: Ohne Nähe zur Kamera/ohne direkte Verbindung bleibt es eine klassische Dashcam-Lösung.

Was die Bildqualität angeht: Bei Tag bzw. normalen Lichtverhältnissen bin ich zufrieden. Nachts hatte ich mir allerdings mehr erhofft – die Nachtaufnahmen sind für meinen Geschmack eher durchschnittlich.

Unterm Strich: Ein sinnvolles Set für den festen Einbau und den Parkmodus, besonders im Wohnmobil. Wer aber echte Fernüberwachung (Mobilfunk/Push-Alarm von überall) erwartet oder sehr hohe Ansprüche an Nachtaufnahmen hat, sollte das vorher wissen.

Item worked well, but was sporadic. Would shut off and turn on when driving had to return. Might try again. I will update review.

Seemed like a good choice with everything included such as SD card and hardwire kit. I do not plan to hardwire it so that is not a big plus for me. Packaging was professional looking. The actual video recordings are very clear at least in the daytime (I have not used it after dark). The problem is that it was difficult to set up with limited instructions. Also I bought this to just be able to record daily driving but also apparently has the ability to provide directions which I do not intend to use and cannot find a way to disable. It also asked for some permissions during setup that I was not comfortable with but stated that I could change them later in settings, but I could not find any way to change them! Not really satisfied with this purchase, wish I had paid a little more for a higher rated camera.

One other thing, their website has a way to submit a review of this product, but appears you can only do it in Chinese.

Update: I originally gave this item a 2 Star review due to issues encountered when setting it up that I could not resolve. Shortly after posting my review I was contacted by the company who offered to resolve the issues I was having. Because of their customer service I decided to change my review to 4 stars.

Registra in "4K" 3840×2160 a 30 fps con angolo di visione da 170° e copre bene la strada.
La qualità video è sicuramente adatta all'uso, ma non aspettatevi una qualità da 4K reali, non ci siamo neanche vicini, il confronto con un video 4K non dico professionale ma fatto con uno smartphone non regge minimamente, ma i proclami esagerati in questo tipo di gadget economici sono la norma, non c'è da stupirsi più di tanto.

Il WiFi 6 rende più rapido il collegamento con lo smartphone e il trasferimento dei file tramite app.
La visione notturna con WDR e HDR aiuta a mantenere immagini più leggibili anche con poca luce, fari forti o forti contrasti tra zone scure e illuminate.

Il kit hardwire incluso permette di attivare la modalità parcheggio 24H con funzioni come rilevamento movimento, time-lapse e registrazione in caso di urto. È una funzione utile per chi lascia spesso l’auto in strada o in parcheggi pubblici.

Ha già una scheda da 64 GB inclusa, perciò si può usare subito senza acquistare altro. La registrazione in loop sovrascrive automaticamente i file più vecchi, mentre un apposito sensore blocca e protegge quelli importanti in caso di urto.

Una dash cam ben accessoriata e completa, economica e adatta a chi vuole una videocamera da auto con buona qualità video, app comoda e modalità parcheggio già pronta all’uso.

Ho testato la dashcam su una macchina priva di comfort tecnologici, ed è abbastanza migliorata la situazione sia per agevolarsi nel controllo della macchina durante la notte, sia per avere una mano durante parchieggi o posizioni scomode di parcheggio.
Installazione semplice ed app configurata facile da usare ed intuitiva, che permette di collegarsi alla camera e gestire i vari file registrati.
I video sono abbastanza soddisfacenti, ma anche l'immagine live è nitida durante il giorno, meno durante la nott soprattutto in mancanza di luci, le immagini sono pixelate. L'audio non è niente di eccezionale, ma si comprende tutto quello che registra. Non c'è bisogno di rimuovere la memoria dalla camera, nel caso si vogliano scaricare video, basta collegarsi all'app apposita della dash e recuperare tutti i video che si vuole.
La dotazione è completa e rende pratico e funzionale l'applicazione della camera sul parabrezza, esteticamente non ingombra la vista durante la guida avendo una grandezza compatta.
Il sistema di registrazione continua sempre e il salvataggio automatico dei filmati funziona dando una sensazione di sicurezza nel sapere che c'è sempre un occhio che registra tutto costantemente.

First, it comes with a nice, secure mount to the windshield, rather than a large suction cup that will eventually fall off and create a distraction while driving, so A+ for the secure mount.

Second, it comes with two different power supply cords, amply long enough to route it out of the way, even in a full sized pickup truck. It can either be hard-wired to the key-On switch or you can use option B to plug it into the cigarette lighter port. So again, A+.

Now for the annoying…it talks to you. I turned the sound OFF during the initial setup, yet it still tells me I’ve been “driving for a while” after 15 minutes and suggests I should take a break. It also announces “video locked” about every 10 minutes or so. I have no idea what this means, let alone how to stop these announcements.

Truthfully, setting it up to two different iPhones was a pain in the a$$. My wife is the primary driver of this truck, so I wanted it on her phone in case she needed access to it. She’s not tech savvy at all, so I needed it on my phone as well. I’m marginally better and don’t get immediately frustrated when it comes to tech.

After installing the camera app on my phone, I went to repeat the process on hers. I turned off my WiFi and terminated my connection to the camera. I went through the same steps, downloading the app on her phone, the setup, etc. For a week, the camera would not connect to her phone. This morning, I was finally able to log in with her phone and it’s working like it should…other than the annoying announcements.

I honestly wish we had this in our last pickup truck when she was run off the road last month. I doubt it would have changed the outcome, since neither driver stopped, even after our horse trailer overturned. If nothing else, it may have helped lead to the primary vehicle that caused the incident.

Actual 4K front recording with wide angle generally captures fine details like license plates.

This dashcam works great to get clear video and still captures; photos are taken manually through the app. There are two options for powering the dash cam. Either use the 12V adapter in the cigarette lighter port or it can be hardwired directly to the vehicle’s fuse panel. Hardwiring gives the camera 24/7 parking surveillance being powered by the vehicle's battery. First I tired the 12V cigarette lighter port. The device worked well. Wiring was not as difficult as I expected. The hardwire kit made installation easy, taking about a half of an hour. The kit comes with plenty of wiring, which fit well in the SUV we installed it in. This dash cam does not use traditional adhesive to mount the camera. It uses an electrostatic film for mounting. It can be secured to the windshield without damage, it can be repositioned without residue left behind, it’s reliable in extreme temperatures, and it stays in place even with vibrations.

The app installed easily. The 64 GB memory card is a good size, and a nice accessory to include. We have liked the video clarity, license plates are readable. The app is straightforward to use. It had a hard time connecting to the camera at first. We reloaded the software and we haven’t had a problem since. This kit has everything needed to get the camera up and working well. It’s a good value.

Love it set up quick and comes with tool to help you run the power cables under trim. I chose the cable that plugs into a usb port. But it also comes with a power cable that you can hook up to your fuse box. Real easy to install.

This dash cam has excellent quality. I chose to hard wire it to my fuse box on the passenger side interior of my vehicle. Tucking the wires into the dash was easy and straightforward to do and I feel safer always having this ready to go. It also is very low profile and isnt noticeable or in the way of visibility.
