I am not usually going to write a review, if I buy something and it does what I expect there is no need to ramble on about that. If it is bad, like really bad, I might say something ... but in this case I wanted to show my Avapow glow up! The battery pack on my older Avapow and this new one are about the same size but the new one packs 5500 more A! From 2500, the new one has 8000! And check out those improved clamps, great for those large battery terminals most newer vehicles seem to always have. The quality is great or I wouldn't be a repeat customer, all my vehicles have an Avapow for emergencies. Jump start a dead vehicle, or charge up a phone without having to carry a larger heavier solar generator with you. You can also use the built in flashlight, or top off your EDC light. So many people worry about having a spare tire that they will never use but never think about the fact that one day their battery will die. Not if it dies, when it dies. With AAA times that can be counted in hours at times having the security of a jump pack makes sense. They are safe unlike jumper cables, compact and are real life savers when you need them most. Get yourself an Avapow you deserve it.

Nice to have these portable car boosters for emergencies. This one has a light, ports to charge devices with and the cables for jumping your car. Being Summer and having fairly new cars I do not have the ability to test this but I did attach a meter to the device to confirm it can output 12V. Some boosters do not show a charge as they have a component that restricts output unless something attempts to draw a charge but this device did not and the meter showed 15V available at full charge which will allow a car to start. Comes in a nice case and perfect replacement for jumper cables.

Le hasard fait bien les choses parfois. Je commande ce d��marreur de batterie et le jour m��me je m'aper?ois que la batterie de mon 4x4 est HS. En effet, j'ai oubli�� pendant plusieurs jours de retirer l'alimentation de la Dashcam de l'allume-cigare. Bref, 48h apr��s je re?ois le gros chargeur de chez AVAPOW qui avec sa puissance de 8000 A permet de d��marrer la batterie de mon tank. Rien de plus simple, on branche les cosses �� la batterie, on allume le chargeur et �� partir o�� l'indicateur "Ready" appara?t on peut d��marrer sa tuture. Un jeu d'enfant et a fonctionn�� du 1er coup ! Apr��s j'ai simplement roul�� 30/40 mn �� 2000 tours/mn pour recharger la batterie.
Il y a 2 modes pour le d��marrage : soit un mode s��curis�� avec de nombreuses s��curit��s (comme l'inversion des p?les) soit un mode direct sans aucune s��curit��.
Alors pourquoi que 4 ��toiles au lieu de 5 ?
Tout d'abord car les cables livr��s sont vraiment tr��s courts ; 30 cm de plus n'auraient pas ��t�� du luxe. Ensuite car la notice dans sa partie fran?aise n'est parfois pas traduite et on se retrouve donc avec diff��rents langages au sein de la traduction fran?aise.
Enfin, je regrette qu'il ne prenne pas en "charge" les batteries de 24 V. Cela m'aurait ��t�� utile pour mon tracteur.
Il n'en reste pas moins que c'est un mat��riel de qualit�� et qui peut rendre grand service en certaine situation.

Bought as a gift for my friend. We got to use it together on his Buick which has intermittent battery issues and it was incredibly convenient with the jumper wire clamps being super easy to use and connect. This is a very good battery jump starter, a friend of mine bought a brand new battery and still needed a jump start; Avapow Battery jump starter handled it with no problem. Great portable jump starter to keep in the car. The unit feels solid and well-built, comes with a nice protective carrying case, and includes everything needed to get started. The unit comes in a case that fits nicely behind the seat of my single cab truck and the power output should be more than enough for cold Winter jump starts. The 30 watt PD USB-C outlet charges my Ultra25 at Superfast Charging as shown in the video. The flashlight is really bright with multiple LEDS and the handle makes it easy to carry. The display panel communicates precisely whats going on versus other jump packs that only have LEDs.

purchased the AVAPOW 8000A for use around the farm. I have many tractors and large equipment. I recently picked this unit up for myself to replace an older jump starter I gave away to a family member with a dead battery. I was able to use this unit to jump their car with only a small loss of charge. My old starter was good for about two jumps on a charge. I'd estimate at least 5 with this unit.

I like how intuitive the product is. I was able to use it without reading the instructions, which is always a plus. I like that the ports are clearly labelled for input/output usage. The carrying case is very sturdy and is roomy enough to contain all of the included accessories. I've added a wall-plug to USB-C (not included), and various charging cables for my devices to the case so I can also use this as a portable charging pack.

The DC to 12v adapter is a great bonus. I can use the battery pack to power my tire inflator (12v) without having to start the car.
